Yes, would still want Pak to beat Aus tomorrow. That would mean Aus will not only have to beat us on Sunday but also improve their net run rate. However, if Aus beats Pak tomorrow, our match against them is a virtual QF for both.

If Pakistan win, they will have a much better NRR than either India or Australia, so we still have to win against Australia. For India it is a QF either way.

It is QF for India whatever may be other results. But I hope Pakistan wins against Australia as it will put Australia under more pressure as they would not only need to win but but win big.

There was me saying that Bangladesh should be a formality. Great to get the win in the end in such dramatic style, but I don't think I could handle that kind of stress again. I've got no finger nails left.

And Australia beats Pakistan easily. So, it is a virtual QF between India and Australia on Sunday.

There are possibly only two people who could have won it for India. Those two were at the crease. Now go, roll over WI.

Kohli was brilliant. Always nice to beat the Aussies.

Disappointing loss for our women. They didn't really deserve to make the semis. How can they have lost to the Pakistanis? And even today, they made a hash of a modest target.

Good lord. Virat Kohli is in a different universe from everyone else right now. I fancy our chances against West Indies, unless there is one of those once in a blue moon Gayle extravaganzas.

Kohli has become the Bradman of limited overs international cricket-- and while chasing his average of course is better than Brsdmsn's.

Rohit, Dhawan and Raina have become the useless threesome. Manish Pandey should have been in the squad to pressure them. I'm not convinced Rahane can replace any of them though.

Get in! Another tense match I thought we were going to lose. I think we can win it now.

For Dhawan, it is mental. He does not have any success in T20s. He is trying to "pace" his innings. Someone should tell him to just go berserk and bat freely. If he gets out cheaply, so be it, but, at least he will not eat up balls.

Rohit should be told to not jump out and try to hit sixes but see if he can hit a four off every ball. And, run twos instead of singles a la Kohli or Dhoni.

At the end of the day, John Wright is always right. Get the singles. In T20s, that becomes get twos of every ball. If you cannot, then you take extra risks. If you are in the last five overs with lots of wickets, you can try to hit over the fielders. Otherwise, try to cut out stupid risks involved with lofting the ball.

Unfortunately the selectors have not got any extra batsman in the squad except Rahane (who has had a average T20 career).
If Yuvraj is injured, there is no room to change anyone in the team.
Why the hell do we have 2 spinners, Negi and Bhajji warming the bench with no chance of either playing.
One seamer, one spinner and couple of batsmen should have been selected..
Someone has made sure Raina will play irrespective of his horrible form.
Hope Yuvraj is fit to play..

I agree, the selectors could have picked a better blend of players, we're short in bat, that's for sure, Hopefully it will all come together though and the group we've got can make it work. Its anyone's game really but I'm pretty confident we can navigate through the remaining games. Will need a bit of luck though.

Manish Pandey has been brought in as a cover for injured Yuvraj. It looks like they want to sneak him in for SF.
