WGC Bridgestone this week. Anirban starts well with 2 under to be T5 after round 1. Typical Anirban early round with a lot of birdies and bogies. Hoping that he doesn't do his usual (for this year) collapse tomorrow and is in contention going into the weekend.

Anirban cards a +4 in his second round and is now T-22 in the WGC Bridgestone competition. He is however only 6 shots from the leader (Jason Day), so he has an opportunity for him to move up...

Better final day for Anirban, with an even par score of 70, but he slips slightly to T33 at the end of the tournament. Not a bad result in a competitive field (he was a stroke behind Phil Mickelson, who finished T27).

Astonishing! Historic round by veteran Jim Furyk as he scored a 12 under 58. He is 46 and he becomes the first player ever to shoot a 58 on PGA tour. In past there were six players (including him) who had shot 59. But he is now in a company of his own. :notworthy:
