Jeev is struggling to make the cut in HonKong. He just made a birdie to move to -1 overall after 13 holes in round 2. He need one more birdie to move inside the cut line.

This week we have season ending "Race to Dubai" tournament. Top 60 in the "Race to Dubai" ranking (moneylist) directly qualifies. However, it has a field of top 58 players out of top 60. The two players missing are Paul Casey and Antony Kim. Jeev finished 37th in the list and he'll tee off with Rafael CABRERA-BELLO who is 38th.

Remember that Jeev really came in prominence when in 2006 he won the season-ending Volvo Masters at Valderrama. This is still the greatest victory for Jeev and for any Indian in golf. Once again he is will be attempting to repeat that feat, however, Jeev does not look in any special form in the last few tournaments. So I don't have any high expectation. I guess what I'll be looking for is that whether Jeev finishes better than his current rank of 37th in the moneylist. :goodluck:

In the end Shiv Kapur and Jyoti comfortably achieved the 2010 card as the top 115 changed to top 120 (as some players are not eligible due to insufficient # of tournaments) Shiv finished 113th while Jyoti just made it to top 100 as the last person.

The current money list is final for all except Jeev. The final 2009 money list will be next week which will change only Jeev's stats.

37 Jeev Milkha SINGH IND 21 €758,131
100 Jyoti RANDHAWA IND 26 €324,176
113 Shiv KAPUR IND 30 €269,328
120 (Last position for direct 2010 Card ) €250,786
--------------------------------------------------------
185 S S P CHOWRASIA IND 22 €78,113

Good start by Jeev as he finishes his 1st round with a score of -2(70) that currently ties him for the 12th position...But his position could change at the end of the day as most of the players have just started their round..

Yes, a positive start for Jeev. At the end of Round 1, he finally finished T14. His round included 4 birdies and 2 bogeys. Leading the field is Australian Robert Allenby at -7.

Jeev was T5 after 15 holes but a bogey on the 16th brought him down and at the end of the day he is T15 with a total of -6..Jeev had 6 birdies and 2 bogeys today for a 3round of -4(68)...Jeev is 9 shots behind the tournament leader Lee Westwood...Jeev may be out of contention for the title but hopefully he would do well to finish in the Top10...

Following Indian golfers over the years I've learned that very often the final day reserves its worst for the Indian golfers. Lets see whether Jeev can change that to some extent in 'Race to Dubai'.

Jeev has just eagled his par5 14th and he is now T12 with a total of -8; 12 shots behind the leader Lee Westwood who is now almost certain to win the whole thing. Battle going on for the 2nd place(-14)

T13 is a good showing by Jeev. My grade for Jeev is "Meets expextation." So a good show. Well it is unreasonable to expect above expectation all the time :) Good job
