Nice Victory!
I hope she goes very deep in this one. Some wins here could give her some very valuable confidence for the season ahead.

It has been R1, R2 and QF exits in these 3 weeks in Greece for Karman. Before that in February, she went out in R1 and R2 in 2 weeks in Spain. So, her result in 5 weeks on European clay in last couple of months have not been good whatever the level of opposition was.

Her results were much better on hard courts in Asia towards the end of last year.

I think she needs to get back on hard courts soon.

With her SF points from Thailand challenger updated, Karman is now in the top 500 for the first time in her career and ranked at a career high of #474 in the latest WTA singles rankings. She has no points to defend now till September.

Next up for her is $25K ITF in Uzbekistan where she has got into main draw as last direct entry. There are 3 such tournaments in Uzbekistan in next 4 weeks. So, she will probably play all of them and try to get up in the rankings.
