And he causes the upset. 6-2 6-3. As easy as you like. Unfortunately though, him and Sumit are on collision course. They might face each other in the final round of qualifying!

Top seed withdraws that opens up a LL spot. Prajnesh currently leads Betov 6-2 2-2 . I hope he wins and one of our guys take the LL spot :P

And Prajnesh wins. So it'll be Prajnesh vs Sumit in the FQR! :D

Great wins by both Prajnesh and Sumit with each handily beating a top 300 European player on red clay. May the better man win and hopefully the LL will help both make the main draw

Yes, Sumit is the favourite but Prajnesh has run into good form this week. His win in Q1 over a 274th ranked player was one of the best wins of his career. He seems to have worked on his serve at Scheuttler-Waske academy. He served 12 aces in his Q1 win and 5 in Q2. So, in that department, he is clearly better than Sumit presently. I guess it would be a close match.

Smart that Prajnesh chose not to stay on and play in Germany but chose a weaker challenger in Sweden. Hope he capitalises on this and qualified for the main draw here.
