^^ Add to that irony is the man playing wawrinka in the other SF carreno busta was also beaten by Yuki at chennai. Even nishioka was serving for match against wawrinka although lost in the tie breaker.

Yes, I still remember that match against Carreno Busta where Yuki played the best tennis I have seen from him so far. Beat a top baseliner at his own game.

Match started. Yuki held his serve and then broke Sugita to lead 2-0 but got broken back immediately for 2-1.

Yuki played a couple of loose shots in that game. He needs to stay at the top of his game when he is ahead and not lose that advantage.

Sugita held at 15 to level it at 2-2.

From 0-30 down, Yuki played well to take the next 4 points to hold for 3-2.

And from 0-30 down, Yuki wins the next 3 points to break for 4-2.

Then, go to ATP on live stream and select Yuki's match -

Atp on live steam

Yuki is 15-40 down but wins the next 2 points to take it to deuce but some really good play by Sugita on next 2 points to break back for 3-4.

Sugita holds at love for 4-4.

Yuki broken after one deuce. Sugita is winning the long rallies: he paints the lines. Yuki needs to shorten the points.

Sugita is not allowing him to shorten the points by returning everything.

Yuki holds at 15 for 5-4 with some strong serving. He needs this to shorten the points in his service games.

3 set points for Yuki at 0-40.

Sugita saves the first one with a Yuki error but Sugita hits the forehand long on the second one and Yuki wins the first set 6-4. :-)

Yuki taken to deuce but wins the next 2 points to make it 3-2 on serve in the second set.

Sugita holds at 15 for 3-3.

Yuki holds at 15 for 4-3.

Sugita taken to deuce but wins the next 2 points for 4-4. Sugita's last shot looked out but was called in despite arguments by Yuki.

Yuki saves 2 breakpoints from 15-40 to take it to deuce but Sugita win the next 2 points vide an error by Yuki and then some good net play by Sugita.

Sugita will serve for the set at 5-4.

Sugita holds at love to take the second set 6-4. :-(

Yuki will need to deep dip now as he looking tired and Sugita is getting back everything thrown at him.

The line calling has been biased against Yuki.

Third set

Finally Yuki holds after a long service game in which he saved a break point and lot of deuces.
1-0 Sugita holds at 30.
1-1 Yuki holds at love with some good play.
2-1 Sugita holds at 30.
2-2 Damn, from 40-15 up Yuki loses 4 straight points to get broken. :-( Some loose play from him trying to rush to the net at inopportune time.)
2-3 Sugita holds at 30. Match slipping away.
2-4 Yuki was 15-30 down again but won the next 3 points to hold. Still a break down though.
3-4 Sugita holds at 30. Yuki to serve to stay in the match.
3-5. All over as Yuki is broken again at 30. :-(
