I was wrong about Germans being good on clay. Both the Germans got knocked out in first round itself.

At $15K India F6 futures, Trivendrum (Clay)

Prajnesh GUNNESWARAN (IND) [1] 6-1 6-3 Kunal ANAND (IND)
Jui-Chen HUNG (TPE) 6-4 6-0 Vijayant MALIK (IND)
Tejas CHAUKULKAR (IND) 6-3 4-6 6-4 Pirmin HAENLE (GER)
N. Vijay Sundar PRASHANTH (IND) [6] 6-3 7-6(3) Anirudh CHANDRASEKAR (IND)
Vignesh PERANAMALLUR (IND) 7-6(2) 7-6(6) Sasi Kumar MUKUND (IND) [4]
Dalwinder SINGH (IND) 6-2 6-2 Gautham Krishnan RAMESH (IND)
Hong Kit WONG (HKG) 4-6 6-3 6-3 Siddharth VISHWAKARMA (IND)
Jayesh PUNGLIYA (IND) 6-1 6-4 Sami REINWEIN (GER) [5]
Rishab AGARWAL (IND) [7] 4-6 6-3 6-1 Chandril SOOD (IND)
Haadin BAVA (IND) 6-3 7-6(6) Faisal QAMAR (IND)
Anurag NENWANI (IND) 6-4 7-6(3) Ansu BHUYAN (IND)
Vishnu VARDHAN (IND) [3] 6-0 6-3 Sidhan Najeem MOHAMMED (IND)
Ranjeet VIRALI-MURUGESAN (IND) [8] 6-4 6-2 Suraj R PRABODH (IND)
Jeson PATROMBON (PHI) 6-4 6-1 Aryan GOVEAS (IND)
Mohit Mayur JAYAPRAKASH (IND) 7-5 6-2 Niki KALIYANDA POONACHA (IND)
N.Sriram BALAJI (IND) [2] 6-2 6-1 Dhruv SUNISH (IND)

Sasi's game has gone down after that title in the third week. He has gone QF, R2 and R1 in 3 weeks after that.

At $15K India F6 futures, Trivendrum (Clay)

Second round

Prajnesh GUNNESWARAN (IND) [1] 6-3 6-4 Jui-Chen HUNG (TPE)
N. Vijay Sundar PRASHANTH (IND) [6] 3-6 7-6(2) 6-3 Tejas CHAUKULKAR (IND)
Dalwinder SINGH (IND) 7-6(5) 6-1 Vignesh PERANAMALLUR (IND)
Jayesh PUNGLIYA (IND) 5-7 6-4 7-5 Hong Kit WONG (HKG)
Haadin BAVA (IND) 7-5 6-2 Rishab AGARWAL (IND) [7]
Vishnu VARDHAN (IND) [3] 6-1 6-4 Anurag NENWANI (IND)
Ranjeet VIRALI-MURUGESAN (IND) [8] 7-6(5) 6-4 Jeson PATROMBON (PHI)
N.Sriram BALAJI (IND) [2] 6-2 3-6 6-3 Mohit Mayur JAYAPRAKASH (IND)

So, it is going to an all Indian QF this time and clean sweep of titles by Indian in this futures series is guaranteed. It has been disappointing series for Rishab Agarwal. He looked quite good in college tennis scence and in futures played in US when he was in college. He also reached a couple of futures final outside India after turning pro. However, in this futures series, it has been first and second round losses for him.

At $15K India F6 futures, Trivendrum (Clay)

Quarterfinal

Prajnesh GUNNESWARAN (IND) [1] 6-2 6-2 N. Vijay Sundar PRASHANTH (IND) [6]
Dalwinder SINGH (IND) 6-3 6-3 Jayesh PUNGLIYA (IND)
Vishnu VARDHAN (IND) [3] 6-3 7-6(3) Haadin BAVA (IND)
N.Sriram BALAJI (IND) [2] 6-4 6-2 Ranjeet VIRALI-MURUGESAN (IND) [8]

Good run by 20 year old Dalwinder Singh after a while. He had reached a futures final in last May.

Sad that none of the younger Indians has come through consistently in this long series of Futures. Sasi won one week then faded, Rishab was a disappointment throughout, Dalwinder has only done well this week, Haadin has done marginally better than expected.

It is third consecutive final between Prajnesh and Balaji.

At $15K India F6 futures, Trivendrum (Clay)

Semifinal
Prajnesh GUNNESWARAN (IND) [1] 6-0 6-3 Dalwinder SINGH (IND)
N.Sriram BALAJI (IND) [2] 6-3 6-2 Vishnu VARDHAN (IND) [3]

Prajnesh and Balaji have won once each in last 2 week. So, let see who has the final say.

Doubles title again went to the top seeded pair of Vishnu and Balaji. This being their fourth title in this 6 weeks futures series.

Balaji will rise to a new career high inside top-300. Achieving it through Futures mainly is something of a travesty though.

Prajnesh has come back from a break down (2-4) to take the first set 7-5. So Balaji may not quite make it to top-300 (live rankings have him at 302).

Yes, Balaji will be somewhere just outside top 300 when the points are updated a week later.

He had a very successful series with singles final in 5 out of 6 weeks ( 2 titles and 3 runner up finishes) and 4 doubles titles.

Prajnesh will be ranked somewhere outside 280 just behind Yuki.

Both Prajnesh and Balaji have a pretty good chance of making the challenger main draws in Asia now.
