Great win for Sowjanya. She always surprise us with these upsets time and again especially on clay but its unfortunate that she is either not funded or inconsistent at times. Mihalikova was a former world #4 Junior.

I don't think funding is an issue as Sowjanya seems to travel to lot of places to play tournaments. Injuries is one issue which has plagued her and held her back like many other Indian tennis players.

Speaking of inconsistency, she just lost 1 & 2 in over an hour :damn:
