Re: Top 10 Indian tennis players ranking prediction for 2016

Yes, these were ranking predictions for 2016 but as we can see almost all the players are still below the ranking predictions we made except Prajnesh. It seems none expected Prajnesh to come upto challenger level as he has done now. Hope he continues to surprise us on positive side. Unfortunately, i...

Re: Roland Garros 2017

However, his opponent had raised the game by a notch by then - returning almost everything and forcing Yuki to go for those extra shots resulting in the errors. To sum it up, Yuki should have won it in 2 if not for the lapses in concentration / focus which enabled his opponent to gain confidence, r...

Re: Sumit Nagal thread

Thanks Jaydeep. Not sure what happened there. He just folded up in the third set and his level of play throughout the match was certainly not at the level of last 2 days. Hope no recurrence of injury.

Sumit is down a break 1-4 in the second set.

Sumit got the break back for 3-4 but got broken back immediately. Goncalo is serving for the set now.

And the Italian takes the second set 6-3. :-(

Re: Ankita Raina thread

As of now, it seems Ankita is headed to UK for grass season. She is in the qualifying entry list of $100K tournaments in Surbiton and Manchester in the weeks of June 4 & 11.

Bold decision to chose these tough tournaments over Uzbek challenger series. Hope it pays off.

Watched the movie - Sachin - the billion dreams. It is more of a documentary than a film but still a really nice summary of Indian cricket from 1989 to to 2011. Good watch particularly for Sachin fans.

Re: ATP World Tour Masters/ WTA Clay court season 2017

But, if Lee enjoys playing, why should others take it upon themselves to force their opinion wrt what he has to do with his life? Ditto with Sania. Why can't we just let them play? They are not forcing us to follow them. Prasen, In any case I do not think whatever we say makes any difference in the...
